All degree-seeking undergraduate students are required to meet with an academic advisor before registering for classes. Regular contact with an academic advisor is essential to student success.
Based on their major, students are advised either in one of three college advising centers or in academic departments.
New freshmen are contacted by a professional advisor to set an advising appointment.
New transfer students, new degree-seeking post-baccalaureate students, and students returning to UA Little Rock after not having enrolled for two years are contacted by one of the college advising centers to be connected with an advisor.
Continuing students taking classes for at least one semester can locate their advisor in Workday Student.
