Apply for Admission:
Complete an application for admission and pay the non-refundable $40 application fee online. There’s no application fee for military students. Request your waiver here.
Tip: Your application will be reviewed by your admission counselor. We’ll communicate with you via email, so be sure to provide the correct addresses on your application so you don’t miss updates.
Submit Required Documents:
Check your admission application status by logging in as a returning user to view your application and list of missing and submitted documents. You will also receive an email confirming your application has been received and what documents will be required for submission. Submit documents to:

Tip: Shot records can be sent via mail, emailed to admissions@ualr.edu, or faxed to (501) 916-3128. Transcripts should come directly from the school’s registrar. If hand-delivered, it must be in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution.
Tip: Testing Services provides placement testing and credit by examination. Contact the Office of Testing Services at 501.916.3198 or visit them in the Student Services Center, Room 315.
Apply for Scholarships & Financial Aid

Step 2: Complete the YOUniversal application on the ADHE website for state financial aid programs like the Academic Challenge Scholarship.

Apply for Housing
View on-campus housing options and policies, and complete the application.
Tip: Applying early increases your chance of getting your preferred residence hall and roommate.
Attend New Student Orientation
Step 1: Visit our website for New Student Orientation events & opportunities. Go2Orientation is an online orientation experience for new students designed to tell you all about being a Trojan. You’ll also meet our Orientation Leaders, your campus guides.
Step 2: For help with financial aid, transfer student support, student accounts, or general questions about campus, visit the ASK Desk on the second floor of the Student Services Building. You can also call (501) 916-3000 or email ask@ualr.edu.

Academic Advising and Registration
All degree-seeking students must meet with an academic advisor before registering for classes. Your advisor will provide instructions for registering for classes and assistance in doing so if you encounter problems.
Freshmen
Freshmen are advised in one of three college advising centers. Your advisor will contact you after you are admitted about making an advising appointment, so watch your email and phone for a message from your advisor.
Transfers
A person from one of three college advising centers will contact you to get you connected with your advisor, so watch your email and phone for a message. Your advisor will then contact you to make an appointment for a personalized, one-on-one advising session and ensure that you are able to register for classes.

Rent or Buy Books
Take your schedule to the UA Little Rock Bookstore to find the books you need. Renting is usually less expensive, and you may be able to use financial aid to pay for books. You can also check them out online.
Tip: The bookstore price matches Amazon and local competitors.
Pay Your Bill
View your account balance in Workday Student to pay in full or set up an installment payment plan. Deadlines are available online at the Bursar’s office.
