HHPS 3440 - Teaching Individual Sports

Four credit hours.

This course is an examination of the theory and practice of K-12 teaching/coaching team sports. Students will be introduced to the rules, procedures, strategies, and skill performance of various individual sports and how each sport should be planned and implemented into the teaching/coaching curriculum. Traditional sports such as tennis, golf, tumbling, and track\field may be covered as well as sports such as ultimate frisbee and others. Hybrid.
