PHIL 34133 - (was 3341) Contemporary Ethical Theory


Three credit hours.

Was PHIL 3341. Examines some fundamental issues in 20th- and 21st-century ethical theory. In addition to exploring recent defenses and criticisms of leading normative theories. Focuses on recent work in meta-ethics; in particular, debates about moral realism and non-realism.

Prerequisites: PHIL 11003 , or PHIL 23093 , or instructor consent (granted on the basis of similar preparation).
