This course will begin with a review of basic bankruptcy laws and procedures. The remainder of the course will focus on business bankruptcies, including liquidations and reorganizations under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. Specifically, the course will focus on the laws, practical business issues, and processes practitioners encounter in business reorganizations. This course will benefit students interested not only in bankruptcy and business reorganizations but also in corporate transactions and commercial litigation. (Formerly LAW 6255)
