Was CHEM 5380. Coordination of theoretical, practical aspects. Includes history, types of polymerizations, kinetics, molecular weight, physical properties, including thermal and spectroscopic characterization, biopolymers, and engineering resins. Dual listed in the Undergraduate Catalog as CHEM 48033 (was CHEM 4380). Offered in spring on even years.
Prerequisites: CHEM 36201 (was CHEM 3151) and CHEM 36203 (was CHEM 3351) or 4250 (recommended but not required: CHEM 37031 (was CHEM 3170), CHEM 3271, CHEM 37143 (was CHEM 3371), CHEM 3470, CHEM 37235 (was CHEM 3572).
