PVYS 2302 - Poverty Reduction Strategies Three credit hours.
In response to the incidence of poverty, both in urban and rural areas, this course equips the student with analytical tools that aid in the planning, design, and implementation of antipoverty strategies. Macro and micro approaches include individual counseling and prevention tactics, policy making, continua of care, community development, and community collaboration. The course is required for Shepherd Scholars.
Prerequisites: PVYS 2301 .
