Gender Studies Minor

Program Requirements


The Gender Studies program is an 18-hour interdisciplinary minor. The minor is designed to help students understand and define the changing roles of women and men brought about by social, economic, political, legal and other changes in society.

Requirements for the minor include an introductory course, 2300; a senior-level seminar, GNST 4300 ; and 12 hours chosen in consultation with the gender studies coordinator from GNST 3315 , GNST 3333 , GNST 3340 , GNST 3346 , GNST 3350 GNST 3366 , GNST 3388 , GNST 4190 , GNST 4195 , GNST 4290 , GNST 4295 , GNST 4371 , GNST 4372 , GNST 4390 , and GNST 4395 .
