Adult Education Graduate Certificate

The graduate certificate in Adult Education can lead to either an initial licensure or an additional licensure in Adult Education. Both graduate certificate programs require the same admissions standards as for the master’s degree. The certificate for initial licensure requires 18 hours of study; students in the additional licensure certificate program will take 15 hours.
Students may transfer in up to 6 hours of graduate education from a state-approved program in adult education with a GPA of at least a 3.0, with program approval.
