ARAD 4350 - Advanced Ceramics I

Three credit hours.

This course is a comprehensive exploration of building and firing techniques for the creation of both utilitarian vessels and nonfunctional ceramic sculptures. There will be further emphasis on exploring ceramic studio tools and techniques, and a continued exploration of clay and glaze formulation and application. The course will also address both traditional and alternative tiring processes.

Prerequisites: ARAD 3350.
