SOWK 8317 - Advanced Standing Skills Lab

Three credit hours.

This course is required of all students admitted to the Advanced Standing program and must be taken before enrolling in concentration year courses. This course builds on the knowledge, attitudes, and skills obtained in the BSW program. It focuses on the development of theory and skills necessary for social work practice at the concentration level across a broad range of practice areas and client systems including, but not limited to individuals, families, groups, organizations, communities, community groups, legislative groups, and community and organizational boards.

Prerequisites: Admissions to the Advanced Standing MSW program
