EDHP 70003 - Internship I

Three credit hours.

Students spend a full semester in a school, under supervision of a cooperating teacher or mentor and a University Supervisor, observing, teaching, participating in activities involving the school, community, and completing 270 clinical hours. Teacher Candidates are expected to develop lesson plans and units correlated with their specific content specialty to impact student learning in the K-12 classroom. Candidate must complete a total of 270 clinical hours in compliance with the Arkansas Learns Act.

Prerequisites: 21 hours completed in the program.
