COMM 80473 - (was ACOM 8304) Internship in Applied Communication

This course requires a minimum of 150 semester work hours for 3 or 300 semester work hours for 6 credit hours.

Was ACOM 8304. Job experience in an organization approved by the Applied Communication Department. Students may explore options through the Cooperative Education Office at UA Little Rock and/or through the Department’s internship coordinator. Students apply relevant theories, develop interpersonal and organizational communication skills, meet regularly with their faculty member, and complete a paper reflecting on their experiences in light of communication theory.

Prerequisites: minimum of 6 hours in the program and consent of the instructor.
