COMM 80486 - (was ACOM 8604) Internship in Applied Communication

Three to six credit hours.

Was ACOM 8604. Job experience in an organization approved by the Applied Communication Department. Students may explore options through the Cooperative Education Office at UA Little Rock and/or through the Department’s internship coordinator. Students apply relevant theories, develop interpersonal and organizational communication skills, meet regularly with their faculty member, and complete a paper reflecting on their experiences in light of communication theory. Requires a minimum of 150 semester work hours for three (3) credit hours or 300 semester work hours for six (6) credit hours.

Prerequisites: Minimum of 6 program hours and instructor consent.
