Two hours lecture. Three hours laboratory per week. Three credit hours.

Was CHEM 5380. Coordination of theoretical, practical aspects; includes history, types of polymerizations, kinetics, molecular weight, physical properties including thermal and spectroscopic characterization, biopolymers, engineering resins. Offered in spring on even years.

Prerequisites: CHEM 3151 and 3351 or 4250 (recommended but not required: Chemistry 3170, 3271, 3371, 3470, 3572).
