Three credit hours.

Was HIST 5327. In this class we will examine Africa’s development from ancient times to the present. In particular we will explore Africa’s relationships with other areas of the world and discuss the points where the African experience converges and diverges from the experience of other regions. We will also focus on three forces driving Africa’s development: geographical contexts, economic systems, and cultural relationships.
