Was HIST 5397. This course links social studies content with practical applications for classroom instruction and curriculum design. Students study history, geography, political science, anthropology, economics, and psychology contained in the state social studies framework for grades 7 – 12, and learn how to plan and detach social studies lessons, units, and curriculum maps. HIST 59763 (was HIST 5397) is not open for students with credit for HIST 49763 (was HIST 4397). Dual listed in the Undergraduate Catalog as HIST 49763 (was HIST 4397)
