INFQ 79101 - (was 7191) Cooperative Education in Information Quality One credit hours.
Was INFQ 7191. Complements and extends the classroom experience by allowing the student to apply the concepts of information quality improvement in the work place. The exact number of hours per week, activities, and responsibilities of the work are dependent on the nature of the work experience and must be specified in written agreements coordinated with the UALR Office of Cooperative Education between the student, the sponsoring faculty member, and the employer. At a minimum, a written report and 12 hours per week for a 3 credit hour semester course, 8 hours per week for a 2 credit hour semester course, and 4 hours per week for a 1 credit hour semester course with the participating employer are required. The course cannot be used for credit toward the requirements for the Masters in Information Quality degree without the special approval from the MSIQ Graduate Coordinator. The course may be repeated for credit.
Prerequisites: Graduate standing and approval of assignment by the faculty sponsor and the graduate coordinator.
