ENGL 55543 - (was 5315) World Englishes

Three credit hours.

Was ENGL 5315. A study of national, regional, and social varieties of English with special attention to the political, cultural, and economic issues facing the use of English as a world language or lingua franca. Dual listed in the Undergraduate Catalog as ENGL 45543 (was ENGL 4315).

Prerequisites: Recommended ENGL 3311 or ENGL 3313.
