Was READ 8301. This course focuses on preparing reading specialists and literacy coaches for supervising and organizing a school-wide literacy program, including organizational techniques and instructional approaches. An additional focus is placed on developing the knowledge and skills of a literacy coach in three major areas: coaching teachers, providing professional development to school personnel, and evaluating a school’s literacy program.
