EDHP 70703 - (was TCED 7303) Reflective Teaching

Three credit hours.

Was TCED 7303. For certified secondary teachers in the advanced track M.Ed. Students learn to use tools of reflective teaching to assess their own level of competence and to design learning experiences to improve their own classroom teaching. Students will analyze various national models for assessment of master teachers and will examine recent research in education which should affect classroom practice. With the guidance of the instructor they will demonstrate their current level of competence in a portfolio and will select a committee to develop an individualized degree plan.
