MGMT 56673 - (was 5366) New Venture Launch

Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.

Was MGMT 5366. The course will focus on the basic steps required to plan, start and run a business by completing all activities involved in a startup. Students will work in teams to develop a consumer product or service and market it to customers. Requirements include identifying “real” business customers, defining and delivering products and services, and financing company operations. This real world, real time experience will be supplemented by classroom analysis and sharing of lessons.

Prerequisites: MGMT 46173 or consent of instructor.
