MEEG 5326 - Measurement Techniques Three credit hours.
Prerequisite: SYEN 3373 or equivalent and SYEN 3374 or equivalent. Principles of operation and implementation of transducers used in electronic measuring systems. Sensors used for the measurement of strength, capacitance, pressure, flow, force velocity, temperature, humidity, vibration, sound, and acceleration are discussed. Interfacing transducers with a digital system will be emphasized. Effects of quantization, scaling, sampling time, and bandwidth will be examined. Two hours lecture and two hours laborator work.Dual-listed in the Undergraduate Catalog as MEEG 4326. Three credit hours
