ECEG 7356 - Radio Frequency Techniques and Systems


Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.

This course covers advanced microwave engineering concepts with a focus on RF field theory. Topics include dispersion, scattering parameters, microstrip and stripline antennas, Coplanar Waveguides (CPW), power splitters, microwave filters, planar transmission lines, monolithic integrated circuits, resonators, power dividers, differential signaling, crosstalk, and introduction to signal integrity. Students are exposed to analysis and design problems of practical importance in RF and microwave application
