ECEG 7329 - Robust and Optimal Control


Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.

his course aims to teach robust and optimal control principles to the participants. Topics include uncertainty and robustness, robust stability, robust performance, controller parameterization, optimal LQR and LQG methods, H2 and H∞ controller synthesis, and linear matrix inequalities (LMI) controller synthesis. Matlab Robust Control Toolbox will be extensively used in the course.

Prerequisites: SYEN 5320   or consent of the instructor
