ASCI 51003 - (was 5310) Introduction to Signal Processing Three credit hours.
Was ASCI 5310. Introduction to the fundamental concepts in signal processing. Use of the fundamental transform techniques (Laplace transform, discrete Fourier transform, z-transform). Discrete time representation of signals, linear time-invariant systems. Correlation, coherence, and time delays. Standard system models (ARMA, ARMAX). FIR and IIR filters.
Prerequisites: MATH 32263 (was MATH 3322) or equivalent.
