ASCI 71703 - (was 7317) Nano-structural Materials: Physical and Chemical Properties

Was ASCI 7317. Introduces students to the area of nanotechnology and the novel properties of the materials built at the nanoscale. The course will cover the main properties of nano-materials, various methods for synthesis and characterization, and the most up-to-date applications from nano-electronics, advanced materials, bio-medicine, etc. The course is designed for graduate students with a background in chemistry, physics, and engineering.

Prerequisites: MEEG 37243 (was MEEG 3372), PHYS 44033 (was PHYS 4340), CHEM 44033 (was CHEM 4340), or equivalent.
