CPSI 58303 - (was CPSC 5383) Artificial Intelligence Three credit hours.
Was CPSC 5383. Introduction to machine intelligence. Emphasis upon different paradigms for problem-solving, such as various state-space search strategies and other approaches. Exposure to one or more key areas such as robotics, logic programming, machine learning, expert systems, planning, neural networks, natural language processing, reasoning, under uncertainty, etc. Students with credit for CPSI 48303 (was CPSC 4383) cannot take 58303 for credit. Dual listed in the Undergraduate Catalog as CPSI 48303 (was CPSC 4383).
Prerequisites: CPSI 28003 (was CPSC 2380), MATH 25004 (was 1452), and MATH 26103 (was MATH 2310), and junior/senior undergraduate or dual entry/graduate level standings.
