Was CPSC 7322. Foundations of distributed operating systems; design and implementation of distributed systems; communication methods for open systems; kernel facilities; file management, naming, and dock synchronization; transactional services for shared data.

Prerequisites: CPSI 38003 (was CPSC 3380), working knowledge of C, C++, or Java Programming Language, and UNIX.
