CPSI 74403 - (was CPSC 7344) Cloud Computing

Three credit hours.

Was CPSC 7344. Develops a fundamental understanding of cloud computing systems. Covers the basic concepts and framework of cloud computing, virtualization techniques, programming models such as MapReduce, cloud networking, security and privacy in cloud computing, cloud economics, and practical implementations of cloud.

Prerequisites: Instructor consent and approval by the Graduate Coordinator of the Computer Science Department.
