Was SOWK 7395. This course is intended to introduce the dynamic topic of addiction and its treatment. In this course, these topics will be investigated and discussed: the foundations and assessment of addiction, substances commonly abused, special populations (i.e. behavioral addictions, addictions in the workplace), and treatments for addictions.
