Was SOWK 7396. This course is an advanced generalist practice course designed to teach practice skills and model techniques for assessment, initial intervention, and follow up with individuals, families, and groups/organizations. The emphasis is on expanding knowledge of theoretical concepts and evidence-based treatment strategies aimed at crisis situations. Students will learn initial safety assessment models as well as intervention techniques with children, families, and communities.
