Was FINC 7311. Fully develops the analysis of financial statements and cash flow and then examines the investment and financing decisions of firms in a market economy from the perspective of value creation. Major financial decisions are discussed in the context of information asymmetry, potential agency problems, and corporate governance. Emphasizes the application of finance theory to real-life business situations through the use of case studies.
Prerequisites: ACCT 70463 (was ACCT 7304), ECON 71343 (was ECON 7313), FINN 70031 (was FINC 7100), or passing assessment, and ECON 70052 (was ECON 7200).
