BUSI 51683 - (was IBUS 5316) Field Study in International Business Three credit hours.
Was IBUS 5316. Includes an international trip providing students opportunities to explore firsthand the international dimensions of business, identify and pursue strategic issues in businesses, and gain an awareness of how cultural, economic, political, and legal environments influence business practices. Before travel, students study and prepare reports on the country to be visited, and upon return, prepare summaries of their experiences, comparing pre- and post-visit perceptions. Fees apply for travel costs and host institution fees. Not open to students with credit for BUSI 41683 (was IBUS 4316) unless the international trip is to a different country than the previous one. Dual listed in the Undergraduate Catalog as BUSI 41683 (was IBUS 4316).
Prerequisites: Completion of MBA Foundation courses or equivalent.
