Was MCED 7302. A study of the causes of mathematics learning difficulties, approaches to diagnosis, and some appropriate teaching strategies. Candidates review, discuss, and summarize research articles concerning diagnosis and assessment; analyze a variety of measurement devices; develop, construct, and administer two specific diagnostic tools; diagnose a specific learner’s performance in mathematics; and make recommendations for instruction.
