Was TCED 7335. Provides an introduction to the field of classroom communication in diverse settings, sometimes known as classroom discourse. It examines the concept of discourse grounded in current research in the fields of sociolinguistics and semantics. It explores teaching understood as a study in interaction, thereby making classroom discourse the language of teaching and learning.
