MATH 50663 - (was 5306) Topology

Three credit hours.

Was MATH 5306. Topological spaces, connectedness, compactness, separation axioms, metric spaces, sequences, completeness, Urysohn’s metrization theorem, homotopy, the fundamental group. Additional topics selected from The Tychonoff Theorem, compactifications. This course is not open to students with credit for MATH 4306.  Dual listed in the Undergraduate Catalog as Dual-listed in the UALR Undergraduate Catalog as MATH 4306.

Prerequisites: a grade of C or greater in MATH 3302 and MATH 2453.
