Was CPSC 5379. The theory and practice of software user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, including theories underlying industry-standard techniques for effective user interfaces. Modern UI/UX design and implementation approaches for software interfaces in several systems (e.g., online computer games and mobile applications). Practical portfolio work provides ample opportunity for hands-on UI/UX project experience. Students with credit for CPSI 47903 (was 4379) may not take CPSI 57903 (was CPSC 4379) for credit. Dual listed in the Undergraduate Catalog as CPSI 47903 (was CPSC 4379).
