SPED 50343 - (was 5303) Assistive Technology in SPED Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.
Was SPED 5303. Prepares teachers to respond to individuals’ functional needs to enhance general or special education curricula access. Candidates will identify and assess how to evaluate, select, and use hardware and software to enhance instruction. Candidates will also learn to assist students with school-related tasks, help students communicate, and help students function better in their environment. Students with credit in SPED 4303 may not take SPED 5303 for additional credit. Dual listed in the Undergraduate Catalog as SPED 40343 (was SPED 4303)
