Was SOWK 7403. SW Internship I requires 240 clock hours in an internship placement. Placements are arranged by the UALR School of Social Work. Students receive supervision by a social worker while gaining direct practice experience in applying foundational theories, skills; developing integrated social work practice skills with individuals, families, groups, and communities with a focus on developing professional relationships, and initial intervention stages with client systems.

Graded credit/no credit.

Prerequisite or Corequisite: SCWK 70133 , SCWK 73033 , SCWK 75033 , SCWK 79033 . (SCWK 70344 (was SOWK 7403) and SCWK 70444 must be completed consecutively, in the same agency setting).
