Program Requirements

Nonprofit Leadership Studies Minor is a competency-based 20-hour minor designed to prepare and certify students to work for nonprofit organizations. Requirements are as follows:

• NPLS 1100 - Introduction to Nonprofit Professional Studies
• NPLS 3300 - Management of Nonprofit Agencies
• NPLS 4301 - Internship
• NPLS 4302 - Internship
• NPLS 4310 - Strategic Fund Development
• NPLS 4320 - Volunteer Management

Two or more electives

Students may also seek Nonprofit Leadership Studies certification and credential without seeking the minor by completing the same set of requirements.
