GEOL 34004 - (was ERSC 3440) Sedimentology and Stratigraphy

Three hours lecture. Four credit hours.

Was ERSC 3440. Covers the properties, processes, and depositional environments of sediments and sedimentary rocks. Lateral and vertical relationships between rock units and how these can be used to understand geologic resources and interpret Earth’s history are also covered.

Prerequisites: GEOL 11343 and GEOL 11331
