PSYC 33543 - (was 3335) Statistics and Methods for Non-majors Three credit hours.
Was PSYC 3335. Restricted to Nursing students. A study of descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. Topics include central tendency, dispersion, graphical displays of data, probability distributions for discrete and continuous variables, frequency distributions, percentiles, null hypothesis testing, power, effect sizes, type I and II errors, one and two-tailed tests, sampling distributions, chi square, correlation, and regression.
Prerequisites: RN to BSN online students in the Department of Nursing only. MATH 11003 , MATH 11103 , or equivalent.
