Was SOWK 4316. This course introduces core concepts and ideas in the field of mental health and provides an understanding of social work practice issues in the mental health field. The course will cover a variety of mental health conditions, their causes, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Prerequisites: Formal admission to the Social Work Program and SCWK 13003 with a grade of “C” or above.
