SPED 40343 - (was 4303) Assistive Technology in Special Education

Was SPED 4303. Prepares teachers to respond to individuals’ functional needs to enhance access to the general or special education curricula. Candidates will identify and assess how to evaluate, select, and use both hardware and software for the purposes of enhancing instruction, assisting students with school-related tasks, and helping students communicate and function better in their environment.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of the Teacher Education Block.
