PLSC 31153 - (was POLS 3311) International Law Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.
Was POLS 3311. Introduces students to the study and practice of international law. International law is inherently political and cannot be understood in isolation from domestic and international politics. Students evaluate the logic and evidence supporting various political science theories on the causes and consequences of international law. Also examines how international law is formed and operates across a variety of substantive areas such as economic affairs, human rights, and armed conflicts.
