MEEG 48443 - (was 4384) Computational Fluid Dynamics

Was MEEG 4384. Modeling and simulation of thermal-fluid problems using commercial software ANSYS Fluent. The topics discussed include finite difference method, finite volume method, solution of discretized equations, solution algorithms for pressure-velocity coupling, turbulence models, uncertainly analysis in CFD modeling, methods for dealing with complex geometrics, heat transfer, and unsteady flows. Dual listed in the Graduate Catalog as MEEG 58443 (was MEEG 5384).
