Was ANTH 4341. An overview of the archaeology of the United States and Canada, with specific emphasis on the Southeastern and South Central regions. Topics to be covered include initial peopling, technologies, subsistence strategies, settlement patterns, migration, symbolism and iconography, and the effects of early European colonization.
