AUSP 3364 - Speech Science

Three credit hours.

An introduction to the study of hearing. Emphasis will be given to the elements of sound, auditory physiology, psychoacoustical methods, and theories of hearing. Speech and Hearing Sciences will cover the physical and psychological aspects of sound, and the fundamental processes underlying the production, measurement, and perception of speech and hearing.

Prerequisites: AUSP 2360 or consent of instructor.
