Program Requirements

All Spanish courses must be taken in the order listed, but SPAN 3315  can be taken concurrently with SPAN 3313  or SPAN 3314 . The area studies course from another discipline must be pre-approved by the DWL Chair and may be taken at any time during the certificate program.

• SPAN 2311 - Intermediate Spanish or equivalent proficiency
• SPAN 2313 - Intermediate Spanish II

• SPAN 3313 - Conversation and Presentation for Spanish

• or

• SPAN 3314 - Writing for Spanish

• SPAN 3315 - Translation Studies
• Interdisciplinary Area Studies Course at 3000 or 4000 level (must be pre-approved by chair) 3
